  • The Post Office & Corner Shop

Grove End is a small village located barely a mile from the estate boundaries. The post office & corner shop is as close to civilisation as it gets. It offers newspapers and magazines and some small sundries and snack items. It also boasts quite the collection of old fashioned confectionery.

  • The Wagon & Horses

No village is ever complete without a pub, and The Wagon & Horses is Grove End's answer to that. It is just what you'd expect from a village pub, and also serves the usual, unremarkable sorts of pub food, including offering full Sunday lunches. The most popular -and only- decent hang-out spot for Highgrove Staff in the evenings.

  • The Canal

Grove End is a small waypoint on one of England's many crisscrossing canals. During the summer, boaters like to stop here for lunch at the pub, or to take in the ambiance of the old village. In the off season, the canal offers a quiet and quaint place to take walks with that special someone, or with Man's Best Friend.

  • The Haywain Bed & Breakfast

If you're looking to get away from Highgrove for the night, or if you want to grab some lunch or breakfast in a quaint, county tea room setting, The Haywain is the place for that. The tea room cafe is open from seven o'clock in the morning until 3 o'clock in the afternoon, and offers modest country faire.

  • The Market Place

Only open on weekends and the first Thursday of the month, the market place hosts all the farm fruit and vegetable stands, a butcher's stand, and a cattle market. Other stalls frequently appear here, including snack stands, clothing and nick-knack stalls and a baker's truck. Sadly, this is the place to be on a Saturday.

  • All Places Beyond

For all of those other places, outside of the middle of nowhere. Or even in it. Just not at Highgrove.
