Where were you born and where did you grow up? What was it like there?

I'm a Gooner born and raised. A Hackney boy. It was alright I guess. Kicked out of three schools for various offences, got a bit of a rep with the pigs; but I've got a lot of mates if that's what you mean.

My name is Riley Matthews, I'm Wayne's social worker. Wayne has been in and out of care his entire life. We have done our best to help both his mother and his father to raise him and his siblings correctly, but event he best help is sometimes not good enough. The young man in question has been expelled on three occasions, twice for fighting and once for assaulting a female member of staff.
Wayne spent 5 months in a Juvenile detention centre before being returned home to his parents. After which time his father was arrested and jailed for racial crimes, and his mother gave him and his brothers up to state care.
Since that time Wayne has been arrested five times and has made life very difficult for the staff and other residence of the home.

My old man is a right laugh. For my brother's tenth, just before he got nicked actually, he took me, my bros and some lads to an Arsenal game. Yea, we get on pretty good. Gutted that I can't visit him in the nick though. Social service wankers say it isn't appropriate, what do they know?
I've got three little brothers, they're all right smart little buggers. James is thirteen I think, he's a little shit but he does well at school and he's never been nicked. Luke's eleven and he's doing time – knifed some black kid. My youngest brother's only four, some old family adopted him the other week. Like I give a shit anyway.
It was recommended that the boys be adopted separately giving Aaron, the youngest boy, more of a chance.
Wayne does not speak about his mother, and has on occasion simply stated that his mother died, and so he doesn't have one.

How were/are you in school? How are your grades? Do you enjoy school?

I don't do school, and it ain't that I don't know how. People just get the wrong idea of me, and teachers gang up. It's not my fault they don't like me. I haven't been to school properly since I was thirteen. Probably part of the reason I was expelled I guess, it's a crock of shit anyway.
Wayne struggles in most social environments, leading to violent outbursts. Involving him in sports activities was successful until he broke another students leg when they score against his team in a friendly. It has, however, been discovered that Wayne works well in one on one situations and is capable of much more than he has so far achieved.

Do you participate in any extracurricular activities or belong to any after-school clubs?

I was on the football team at school and I played for Arsenal under Sixteens, got kicked off both teams for getting in scraps, but the ref shouldn't have red carded me should he.

When I was six my mum got into drugs, I dunno what she did. Anyway, me, James and Luke got put in care for a bit while she was in rehab and until dad could prove he could look after us right. Must of only been a few weeks, or a couple months at most. I don;t really remember that one. Then I think I was maybe ten when they took me and Luke away cause weren't going to school. It was a right shit hole, dunno how mum and dad got us back but there we were. Then I was in care for a week when I was thirteen, not really sure why that one was and now here I am again. This time though it's not so much the old bird's fault as my dads, got with a couple of his mates and they battered a load of black Spurs fans – I heard a guy died.

Do you have many/any friends? If so, please describe them.

I've got loads of mates, few girls who do favours for me and a load of lads I run about with. Not much to say about 'em really. We just have a laugh. Trashing stuff, setting bins on fire. You know just pissing about. Best thing on a Saturday night is finding a load of lost tourists and making them shit bricks.

One of Wayne's friends, is currently standing trial for assault, whilst another is in a detention centre for burglary. Two of his female friends have reported that Wayne raped them, but both girls withdrew their accusations.

Yea I am. I've got a thing for small girls, not kids right cause that's wrong but like weak girls. I like to overpower them.

Nah, I'm no nutcase. There's nothing wrong with me, I've never even seen a shrink unless you count the counsellor bloke at school. He was full of bull though.
Other than his compulsion to lie, whilst Wayne was incarcerated he spent some time with a psychiatrist who diagnosed him with sexual sadism – something Wayne refuses to acknowledge.

There's nothing wrong with me.

As mentioned Wayne assaulted a female member of staff at his last school resulting in his expulsion, the young woman chose not to press charges on the grounds that Wayne would receive psychiatric help. There are also the two young women who reported and then withdrew rape accusations. It is unknown why they chose to withdraw their statements.

I saw a bloke when I was inside alright, but he didn't have anything worth while to say.
Wayne saw Dr. Melody Brooke but she requested to be taken off of his case, for fear of her safety. He then saw Dr. Arnold Gil who diagnosed him.

I get in a few fights, I hang out with girls. I have girlfriends.
As far as we've been able to tell Wayne cannot have a normal relationship with a woman, and his character changes dramatically in such social situations. He has a dangerous fascination with females and tries to spend as much time alone with them as possible.
He boasts numerous 'girlfriends', none of whom while discuss the extent of their relationship with him; and it has been suggested that Wayne may have had a sexual relationship with an older cousin – we have no proof of this though.

If you could be cured of your ailments, what would your goals in life be?

I don't have a fucking ailment alright. What is this bullshit?

How do you feel these goals would be best attained?

My goal, is to get the fuck out of care and play footie for Arsenal. As far as attaining it, well that's bloody simple init, I'm just gonna keep play football and going to try-outs.

Why do you feel you are being referred to Highgrove, and by whom?

Last ditch attempt to straighten me out? I know who referred me, and I don't give two shits about it.

“I think I'd have got a chip butty this mornin' instead of the sausage bap, tasted of horse shit.”

How do you feel currently about your life so far, and anything you may have done?

“Lovin' it. I'm livin' it up mate. Only downside is not bein' with my baby bro and not bein' able to see my old man. 'S all shit in the wind though init, I'll see 'em both soon enough. As far as what I've done and how it makes me feel, I'm not sure what you're tryin' to get at.”

“Who gives a shit if two blokes are batterin' each other? A bird getting' hammered though, well that's different init. I'd probably give one of the girls a ring, give 'er a good 'ard nobbin'.”
